Alef Bet Jewelry is a mother-daughter company based out of Los Angeles, CA. Paula, the mother, began selling jewelry when her children were small sincer her husband wouldn’t buy her any baubles, and she needed to increase her personal stock. Alissa, the daughter, joined up while attending UCLA in 1996, after her husband suggested that they manufacture Hebrew alphabet charms. That is how the name Alef Bet Jewelry was created…the first product was alphabet beads.
Paula has three daughters and five grandchildren, and Stewart, does the “books” and can often be found at giftshows as the official shlepper. Alissa has three children, and all of them grew up in the office and at the gift shows. Alef Bet is a family run business and proudly can say that we make our jewelry in the United States of America.
Alef Bet Jewelry no longer manufactures only letter beads in Hebrew, but lots and lots of great jewelry! Stars of David, Hamsas, Chais, Mezuzot, hearts, evil eye charms, etc.
